I tell young people that the greatest paintings in museums are made with minerals mixed in oil, smeared on cloth with the hair from the back of a pig's ear. It's that simple.
Exhibition Preview at the Brewhouse (9th September 2005)
Thank you so much to everyone who joined us at the preview last night, of my first exhibition in Burton–upon–Trent for 14 years and helping to make the evening at the Brewhouse a very special occasion for both Liz and myself.
It was great to be reunited with family and friends old and new.
If I could say a special thank you to those who travelled such a long way to be there, it really was appreciated.
For anyone who couldn’t attend the Preview, the exhibition will run until Saturday the 24th September.
If you would like more information, please contact me.
My mother said to me, "If you become a soldier you'll be a general; if you become a monk you'll end up as the pope." Instead, I became a painter and wound up as Picasso.
